Getting started with RCTS is simple. Whether you need consulting, design, or tech, our team will guide you through every step. Start by contacting us through our contact form, calling our main office at (804) 299-5637, or emailing us at info@rivercitytrial.com. From there, one of our team members will reach out to schedule a brief discovery call to learn more about your case, goals, and timeline.
After the initial consultation, we’ll prepare a customized proposal outlining recommended services, estimated costs, and a project timeline. Once approved, our in-house departments coordinate seamlessly to manage every phase, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and complete confidentiality throughout the process.
If you’re not sure which services you need, we can start with a quick strategy call to identify the most effective and cost-efficient options for your case or firm.

RCTS was built to bring every critical trial-support discipline under one roof. While most firms outsource key elements—graphics, video, focus groups, printing, or technology presentation—we’ve assembled an in-house team that handles all of them. That means faster turnaround, tighter quality control, and consistent design and strategy from start to finish.
Our consultants and technicians have spent years embedded with trial teams in high-stakes cases across the country. We understand what actually happens in the courtroom—and we tailor all services around real-world trial dynamics, not theory.
From our proprietary JuryDeploy model that allows repeated, data-driven focus-group testing, to our integrated graphics and videography departments, RCTS delivers a level of continuity, efficiency, and trial-readiness that traditional firms simply can’t match.

Because every case and project is unique, RCTS provides custom proposals tailored to your specific needs, scope, and timeline. We work with individual attorneys, law firms, carriers, and corporate clients—offering flexible pricing structures designed to fit the realities of modern litigation.
Our goal is to make world-class trial support accessible without unnecessary expense. Many of our services are modular and scalable—you can engage us for a single focus group, a day-in-the-life video, or full trial support from discovery through verdict. We’ll outline clear, upfront pricing before any work begins, so you know exactly what to expect.
For recurring clients or multi-phase projects, we also offer volume-based and bundled rates to maximize efficiency and cost savings across departments.

Confidentiality is at the core of everything we do. RCTS operates with the same standards of discretion and data security expected within a law firm. All client materials—including case files, exhibits, video footage, and focus-group data—are stored and transmitted using encrypted, access-controlled systems.
Every member of our team, from consultants to technicians, signs a strict confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement and is trained on the ethical and procedural requirements of handling sensitive legal information.
We never share client data with third parties without written authorization, and all project materials remain the exclusive property of the client upon completion.

We understand that litigation is unpredictable, and cases often resolve or change direction unexpectedly. For that reason, RCTS does not charge cancellation fees for settlements, dismissals, or continuances—except in limited situations where a project required a non-refundable deposit to secure dedicated time, travel, or studio resources.
Deposits are only required for services that involve firm scheduling or resource blocking (for example, focus groups, mock trials, video shoots, or on-site trial support). These deposits cover the preparation and time commitments that prevent our team from booking other work during that period.
Outside of those situations, if your case settles or is continued, you will not be billed for any unused or postponed services. We’re committed to being a flexible, fair partner that aligns with the realities of litigation.

Yes—always. Every RCTS focus group and mock trial involves real participants, from the target jurisdiction, carefully selected to reflect the demographics of the trial venue. We never use AI-generated or simulated jurors.
Our recruitment process sources genuine participants from trusted databases and verified screening methods to ensure a balanced mix of age, gender, occupation, and life experience. Each person reviews real case materials and provides live, unfiltered feedback through moderated discussions and written questionnaires.
For clients using our JuryDeploy platform, those same participants are recorded in real-time, allowing you to watch their discussions, reactions, and deliberations just as you would in person.
Every project is designed to produce authentic, actionable insight—the kind that only comes from real people reacting to real arguments.

Yes. RCTS offers customized witness preparation services led by our in-house trial and jury consultants—seasoned trial attorneys who have spent years working with witnesses in high-stakes civil cases.
Our approach goes far beyond traditional coaching. We combine strategic insight, psychological framing, and on-camera practice to help witnesses understand their role, manage anxiety, and communicate with clarity and credibility. Every session is tailored to the individual, the forum, and the stakes of the case.
Whether for a fact witness, corporate representative, or expert, our process ensures your witness is confident, composed, and ready to connect with a jury.

Absolutely. In fact, most of our clients come to us because they want the confidence of having an experienced, tech-savvy partner handle the details. You don’t need any special equipment, software, or technical knowledge to work with RCTS.
Our team manages everything—from setup and file formatting to courtroom presentation—so you can focus entirely on your case. We’ll walk you through each step, explain options in plain language, and provide clear previews or test runs before anything goes live.
Whether you need a focus group recorded, a day-in-the-life video produced, or a complex set of exhibits organized for trial, we’ll handle the technology and logistics so you can concentrate on strategy and advocacy.
If you can open an email, you can work with RCTS.

Absolutely. Most attorneys know that visuals are powerful but aren’t sure where to start—that’s where we come in. Our team specializes in turning complex facts, records, and testimony into clear, compelling visuals that resonate with jurors, judges, and mediators.
You don’t need to arrive with a concept in mind. We’ll review your case materials, identify key themes and points of confusion, and propose strategic visual approaches—from medical illustrations and timelines to 3D models, animations, and interactive exhibits.
Throughout the process, we collaborate closely with you to refine tone, accuracy, and presentation so that every visual supports your narrative and strengthens your argument.

RCTS is built for tight deadlines. Because our designers, trial technicians, and consultants all work in-house, we can move quickly without the bottlenecks of outsourcing.
If you’re facing an immediate deadline, we’ll prioritize your case and adjust production schedules as needed. Rush projects are common for us, and we’ve delivered full demonstrative sets overnight when required.
 -

Yes. We understand that trust and continuity matter, especially in high-stakes cases. If you’ve worked with a particular RCTS consultant, designer, or technician before—or if you’ve been referred to someone on our team—you’re welcome to request that individual for your case.
Whenever possible, we’ll honor those preferences and coordinate schedules to keep your preferred professional involved throughout the project. For larger or time-sensitive matters, that team member will collaborate with additional RCTS staff to ensure coverage, consistency, and timely delivery.
Our goal is to provide a seamless client experience—combining personal connection with the depth and reliability of a full in-house team.

At this time, RCTS does not offer deposition videography services. These assignments require highly specific scheduling commitments that can conflict with our core focus on trial preparation, live support, and production projects that often move or change quickly.
However, our videography department remains fully available for other litigation-related needs—such as day-in-the-life videos, site inspections, mediation presentations, and courtroom playback support.
If you need a recommendation for a qualified deposition videographer, our team can connect you with trusted professionals in your area.

You can reserve RCTS as far in advance as you’d like—and we encourage doing so early, especially for complex or multi-week trials. Many of our clients secure dates as soon as a trial is set, even if specific needs aren’t finalized yet. This ensures our trial technicians and consultants are available and familiar with your case well before you enter the courtroom.
That said, we regularly accommodate last-minute requests and can mobilize quickly when cases are continued, reassigned, or accelerated. Our in-house structure allows us to scale resources and provide full trial support on short notice when necessary.
Whether your trial is six months out or six days away, RCTS can help you plan, prepare, and execute seamlessly.
The sooner you reserve, the more we can do before you step into court.
